Dr. Don Woodard

Dr. Don Woodard has served in the ministry for over thirty-eight years as an evangelist, pastor, and Christian counselor. For fifteen years he traveled as an evangelist working extensively with teenagers. He has counseled thousands of people on issues ranging from Christian growth and relationships to physical, emotional, and sexual abuse.

Dr. Woodard serves as a consultant to ministries that care for troubled young people and adults facing addiction and behavior challenges. He has ten published books, the most recent being “Training a Child’s Conscience: The Battle for Our Children’s Soul.”

He and his wife Debbie have been married for forty-three years, have five children, and a growing number of grandchildren. From June 2008 until January 2024 he served as pastor of Beacon Baptist Church in Salem, Virginia, and is the co-founder of CandleStick Light to Haiti, which operates an orphanage in Haiti, assists national pastors, and distributes Bibles.

He is the founder of Life Relationships — a unique revival ministry of helps for family, church, personal, and life relationships.
